1.Gas stable isotope analysis: C, H, O, N, S, Si isotopes

The laboratory has ThermoFisher 253 Plus stable isotope mass spectrometer, Nu's Perspective IS gas isotope mass spectrometer, ThermoFisher Delta Plus XP gas isotope mass spectrometer, and a sample preparation pre-treatment system. It can complete the determination of stable isotopes such as C, H, O, N, S, Si in gas, liquid, mineral or whole rock.

2.Elemental geochemical analysis: major and trace rare earth elements

The laboratory has the Shimadzu X-ray fluorescence spectrometer XRF-1800, a main melting prototype, which is used for main element detection. ThermoFisher Element XR high-resolution inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) and Agilent 7500 ICP-MS plasma mass spectrometer for trace rare earth element detection.

3.Radiogenic isotope and stable metal isotope analysis: Sr, Nd, Pb, Hf, Li, Fe, Cu, Zn, Mg, etc

The laboratory has a ThermoFisher Neptune Plus Multi Receiver Plasma Mass Spectrometer (MC-ICP-MS), an ultra clean laboratory that can currently perform isotope analysis of Sr, Nd, Pb, Hf, Li, Fe, Cu, Zn, Mg, Si, and other elements.

4.In situ microanalysis: U-Pb dating, in situ trace elements, in situ Sr, Nd, Hf, S, B, Li isotopes, etc

The laboratory has a ThermoFisher Neptune Plus multi receiver plasma mass spectrometer (MC-ICP-MS) and a RESOLusion S155 193nm laser ablation system, which can currently perform in-situ isotope analysis of Sr, Nd, Hf, S, B, Li, and other isotopes; Germany's analytikjena PlasmaQuant⪚ The MS inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer and Agilent's 7500 plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS), along with the RESOLution laser ablation system, can be used in combination for U-Pb dating and in-situ trace element content.
